Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the installation, commissioning, and validation of Fire Alarm systems across various projects.
  • Interpret and analyze blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and technical specifications.
  • Coordinate and supervise collaboration with colleagues and electrical professionals.
  • Prepare verification documentation and conduct system acceptance evaluations.
  • Stay informed about a range of product offerings.
  • Identify issues and troubleshoot hardware malfunctions.
  • Travel as necessary for project requirements.
  • Implement programming adjustments and support staff training initiatives.
  • Guide and mentor junior technicians.

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience in the Fire Protection sector.
  • Completion of a diploma in Fire Protection or Electrical/Electronic disciplines.
  • Certification from the Canadian Fire Alarm Association (CFAA).
  • Familiarity with building and fire safety regulations.
  • Capability to program fire alarm systems effectively.
  • Competence in using computers and electronic testing tools.
  • Physical ability to lift equipment and ascend ladders.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
