Vice President of Personal Lines

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to join our team as a Vice President of Personal Lines at HUB International Canada West ULC (Canada West). This is an exciting opportunity to lead our Personal Lines retail teams and drive business growth through strategic planning and execution.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Personal Lines retail teams to deliver exceptional product and customer experiences.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with carriers to ensure client growth, revenue, and profitability.
- Communicate effectively with employees, applying active listening and problem-solving skills to address employee concerns.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify initiatives and opportunities, and drive results through effective project management.
- Assist in setting sales and retention goals, and provide training and support to branch teams.
- Work collaboratively with other Vice Presidents to promote a culture of teamwork and operational support for the sales team.
- Advanced insurance knowledge in personal lines processes and procedures.
- Professional verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills, with the ability to make decisions and drive results.
- Business acumen and strategic thinking capabilities.
- Results-oriented, with the ability to manage time and resources effectively.
- Advanced practical knowledge of Broker Management Software Systems.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.
- Superior relationship-building skills, with a client-oriented approach.
- Strong organization and time management skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple, competing projects with tight deadlines.
- Committed to professional development and continuous learning.
- 10 years of progressive industry and people management experience.
- CAIB or similar designation.
- Post-secondary studies in Business Administration or Retail Management.
- Previous experience managing across organizational boundaries.
