Transforming the Energy Sector with Thin-Film Solar Cells

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Laboratory Technician to join our team. As a key member of our research and development team, you will play a crucial role in advancing the limits of traditional solar cells and opening new possibilities for clean energy production.
Responsibilities
- Conduct sample preparation and analysis in development and quality control, ensuring the highest standards of scientific rigor and accuracy;
- Setup, maintain, and execute experiments on a variety of analytical equipment, including liquid chromatography and spectroscopy;
- Communicate analysis results to the team, providing clear and concise insights to inform decision-making;
- Collaborate with R&D and production teams to drive innovation and improve processes;
- Ensure the maintenance and upkeep of general laboratory equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency;
- Contribute to the shipping process, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of materials;
- Perform other related tasks as required.
Requirements
- Strong background in analytical chemistry or a related field, with a minimum of one year of relevant laboratory experience;
- Knowledge of different types of liquid chromatography (HPLC, SEC) and spectroscopy, with a strong understanding of their applications and limitations;
- Mechanical and electronic skills, with the ability to repair and maintain equipment;
- Ability to work according to Good Laboratory Practices and maintain a high standard of scientific rigor;
- High concern for health and safety at work, with a strong commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment;
- Autonomous, meticulous, rigorous, and methodical, with a strong attention to detail;
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and provide clear insights to inform decision-making;
- Strong knowledge of spoken and written English, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
