Position Overview
Become a pivotal member of our dynamic Cross-Border Individual Tax team as a Senior Manager, where your expertise will drive significant outcomes. This dedicated group of specialists crafts tailored tax solutions within a multifaceted regulatory landscape. As a reliable advisor, you will deliver proficient tax guidance to empower client organizations and minimize potential risks.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee client engagement teams responsible for managing U.S. and combined U.S.-Canadian individual income and estate tax filings.
- Support cross-border income tax and estate planning initiatives.
- Provide in-depth knowledge of Canadian and U.S. individual income tax, social security, and international tax agreements.
- Contribute to the development of expatriate policies and compensation frameworks.
- Ensure effective engagement planning, project financial oversight, and quality assurance.
- Build networks within the local business community to foster business development opportunities.
- Participate in strategic planning and the creation of innovative approaches.
- Guide, inspire, and mentor team members to facilitate their professional growth.
- Be prepared to travel as necessary.
Qualifications and Skills
- Must possess a CPA designation.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Canadian and U.S. individual income and estate tax regulations.
- Exemplary leadership, strategic planning, and analytical thinking abilities.
