Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Labourer and Helper to join our team at Dias Roofing. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for assisting in various aspects of construction, including loading and transporting materials, erecting scaffolding, and performing routine maintenance work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials
  • Erect and dismantle scaffolding, ramps, and other construction equipment
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications
  • Pave and rake asphalt
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials
  • Perform routine maintenance work
  • Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license
  • Dependability and reliability
  • Hardworking and willing to learn
  • Ability to work 35-40 hours per week
Work Environment

As a Construction Labourer and Helper, you will be working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions. You will be exposed to noise, dust, and heat, and will be required to wear personal protective equipment.

Language and Work Term

The work language is English, and the work term is permanent.
