We are seeking a skilled Truck and Transport Mechanic to join our team at TRUCK MISTRI ELECTROMECHANICAL EXPERTS INC. As a key member of our workshop team, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of commercial transport trucks and trailers.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with commercial transport truck systems, including engines, transmissions, and braking systems.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
- Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.
- Collaborate with supervisors to determine the best course of action for repairs and maintenance.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with customers and providing them with updates on the status of their vehicles.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Standing for extended periods and ability to lift heavy objects.
- Dependability, flexibility, judgement, and reliability are essential qualities for this role.
Our workshop is a fast-paced environment with a high level of noise and dust. You will be required to wear steel-toed safety boots and follow all safety protocols.
