Position Overview

As the Facilities Operations Manager at EDJ Property Management Inc, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our properties. This position requires a strong leader who can effectively manage a team of custodial staff and maintain high standards of facility upkeep.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of College or CEGEP education is preferred.
Work Environment
  • Work may involve heights, wet or damp conditions, and exposure to various odours and dust.
  • Outdoor work may be required, including in cold or refrigerated settings.
Work Setting
  • Position is based in both commercial and residential facilities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit, train, and oversee cleaning personnel.
  • Coordinate and supervise the activities of custodial staff.
  • Conduct inspections of facilities to ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Prepare budgets and cost estimates for cleaning operations.
  • Recommend additional services such as painting, repairs, and renovations as needed.
  • Maintain accurate financial records related to cleaning services.
  • Assist cleaning staff in their duties as necessary.
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate work activities.
  • Establish and manage work schedules for staff.
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Direct supervision of 3-4 cleaning personnel.
