Job Title: Housekeeper

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in all areas of the casino facility. This includes cleaning and sanitizing public and employee areas, cleaning building floors, furniture, fixtures, and equipment, and providing supplies to restrooms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform cleaning and sanitation activities for public and employee areas
  • Clean building floors, furniture, fixtures, and any equipment
  • Service, clean, and provide supplies to restrooms
  • Practice safe work procedures and health and safety policies ensuring a safe and hazard-free environment
  • Report any maintenance or safety issues

Requirements:

  • Secondary school diploma or comparable combination of equivalent working experience and education
  • Experience in the related field of one or more years
  • Proven high level of Customer Service
  • Organizational, interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills
  • The ability to work evenings, weekends, and shift work
  • The ability to lift, push, pull, and move house cleaning equipment and supplies
  • Good physical fitness to maintain a constant pace of manual work
  • General knowledge of cleanliness and sanitation
  • The ability to obtain registration as a Category 2 Gaming Assistant with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario
