Job Title: Retail Store Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Rideau Convenience Canada Inc.

Job Summary:

The Retail Store Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a high level of sales performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they are adequately trained to meet customer needs.
  • Hire and train new staff members, or arrange for their training, to ensure they are equipped to handle customer inquiries and sales.
  • Order merchandise and manage inventory levels to meet customer demand.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that all staff members are aware of their duties and responsibilities.
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform management decisions.
  • Resolve customer complaints and supply shortages in a timely and professional manner.
  • Organize and maintain inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales workers to ensure efficient store operations.
  • Manage cash handling and ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Conduct performance reviews to identify areas for improvement and provide feedback to staff members.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail environment.
  • Permanent employment with a minimum of 30 to 40 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English.
Work Environment:

The Retail Store Supervisor will work in a fast-paced retail environment, requiring attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
