Job Title: Building Maintenance Worker

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Building Maintenance Worker to join our team at Synergy Systems. As a Building Maintenance Worker, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, painting, and repairing equipment and facilities.
  • Conduct safety and security checks to ensure a secure and healthy work environment.
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, and other refuse.
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers.
  • Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings.
  • Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Perform minor repairs on appliances.
  • Supervise other workers as needed.
  • Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies.
  • Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as drywall repair and water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens.
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures.
  • Work with minimal supervision.
  • Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in building maintenance or a related field.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Ability to bend, crouch, and kneel as needed.
