Overview

The Sales Merchandiser plays a vital role in the success of Frito Lay Canada by delivering exceptional customer service to various large and small accounts, including supermarkets and variety stores. This involves merchandising products, freshness rotation, display setup and maintenance, storage room organization, and the movement of product from storage to the sales floor.

Responsibilities
  • Merchandise store shelving, racks, and displays with PepsiCo products
  • Utilize Point-of-Sale materials effectively
  • Maintain a neat and orderly back-room stock, ensuring shelving cleanliness
  • Provide excellent service to assigned accounts, creating and maintaining goodwill with all customers
  • Perform all assigned duties in a safe and productive manner
Requirements
  • A valid driver's license, clean driving record, and a reliable vehicle
  • Merchandising or retail customer service experience is beneficial, but not necessary
  • The ability to work with minimal supervision
  • The capacity to perform frequent bending, twisting, kneeling, squatting, and reaching over the shoulder
  • Able to lift 50 plus pounds and push or pull up to 200 pounds using a pallet jack
