Position Overview:

We are looking for skilled and dedicated Security Systems Technicians to enhance our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and maintain electronic security systems, such as CCTV, intrusion detection systems, and access control solutions.
  • Conduct pre-wiring, installation, programming, commissioning, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance tasks.
  • Provide administrative assistance and collaborate with project managers and office systems team members to coordinate project details and updates.
  • Exhibit flexibility in scheduling, with the ability to work outside of regular hours as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of experience in Access Control, CCTV, or Intrusion Systems.
  • Graduates of the BCIT Security Systems Program are preferred.
  • Possession of a valid BC Security License.
  • Valid BC Driver's License (Class 1 through 5) with a clean driving record.
  • Commitment to high standards of safety and security.
  • Experience in project planning, installation, testing, and documentation.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and networking.
  • Experience with ULC systems is advantageous.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada and currently reside in the country.
