Job Summary

The Food Service Worker will assist the manager with food preparation and meal production, maintaining high standards of quality and safety practices. This role requires attention to detail, ability to work quickly under pressure, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare quality food and baked goods according to a planned menu
  • Assist manager in completing daily reports and maintaining accurate records
  • Ensure storage of food in a sanitary and organized manner
  • Serve food according to meal schedules and department policies
  • Use and care of kitchen equipment, including knives and other utensils
  • Timely preparation of a variety of food items, beverages, and garnishes
  • Coordinate and assist in major cleaning of refrigerators, freezers, and cooking and serving equipment
  • Adhere to all food safety regulations for sanitation, food handling, and storage
  • Adhere to the uniform policy and maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Connect with the Manager daily to understand and accurately prepare menu for the day
  • Supervise the food temperature requirements and maintain a safe environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including other areas in the kitchen
Requirements
  • Food Service Certificate as needed
  • Sufficient education or training to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions
  • Ability to work quickly and concisely under pressure
