Food Service Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at DFII Corp. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our food service department.
Key Responsibilities- Operations Management: Develop and implement effective methods to meet work schedules, ensuring seamless execution of food service operations.
- Supply Chain Management: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, maintaining optimal inventory levels to meet customer demands.
- Staff Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring high-quality service and food presentation.
- Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and compliance.
- Financial Management: Estimate ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, prepare budget and cost estimates, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Customer Service: Address customers' concerns, ensuring exceptional service and quality standards are met.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit reports, providing insights and recommendations for process improvements.
- 5-10 years of experience in food service operations, preferably in a supervisory role.
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, kneel, and walk.
