About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Garage Attendant to join our team at HM Auto Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work environment, performing services specific to our garage, and producing reports to ensure seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain Work Areas: Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and well-maintained to promote efficiency and productivity.
  • Perform Services: Provide exceptional service to our customers by performing tasks specific to our garage, including maintaining vehicles and equipment.
  • Produce Reports: Accurately and efficiently produce reports to track progress, identify areas for improvement, and ensure compliance with company standards.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • Asset Languages: Proficiency in Arabic is an asset.
  • Work Site Environment: Ability to work in confined spaces, dusty, noisy, odorous, and wet/damp environments.
  • Work Setting: Experience working in a garage environment.
  • Tasks: Ability to maintain work areas, perform services specific to our garage, and produce reports.
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's license and ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to handle heavy loads, work overtime, and stand for extended periods.
  • Own Tools/Equipment: Familiarity with safety equipment, uniforms, and steel-toed safety boots.
  • Screening Questions: Ability to work shift or on-call hours, willingness to relocate, and previous experience in the field.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
