About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Transportation Labourer to join our team at Western Canada Transport Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth transportation of goods and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation and Logistics: Assist in the transportation of tools and equipment on push or hand cars, and assist trucks and delivery drivers to load and unload vehicles.
  • Warehouse Operations: Perform labouring duties in warehouses, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Participate in diversity and cross-cultural training programs to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and refugees.
  • Support for Youths: Offer on-the-job training and mentorship opportunities to youth, helping them to develop their skills and advance in their careers.
  • Support for Visible Minorities: Participate in diversity and cross-cultural training programs to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
  • Hours of Work: 30 hours per week, with a regular schedule and opportunities for overtime.
