Position Overview

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to become part of our healthcare team.

About the Clinical Resource Team:

The Clinical Resource Team (CRT) is essential in delivering nursing services to diverse patient groups within the acute medical care programs. This team consists of LPNs whose shifts are allocated across various clinical units to address staffing needs and organizational demands as they arise. CRT personnel are integral members of our organization and respond to requirements based on patient acuity, coverage for vacancies, and other operational necessities. CRT members carry out a comprehensive range of professional responsibilities and deliver high-quality care to patients. All new CRT members receive comprehensive training through an on-site orientation program, guided by experienced healthcare professionals and educators. The CRT fosters opportunities for skill enhancement and prides itself on mentoring our nursing staff.

Responsibilities of an LPN:

Function independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary care team, executing the full scope of practical nursing duties for clients with predictable outcomes within a designated specialty area. Evaluate, plan, implement, assess, and document client care while providing support to clients and their families. Collaborate as a member of a multidisciplinary care team and under general supervision, assist the Registered Nurse in caring for clients with unpredictable outcomes or where the complexity of care necessitates advanced knowledge and skills beyond the Licensed Practical Nurse's scope of practice. Maintain and enhance clinical competence in accordance with the standards of practice for Licensed Practical Nurses.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

Completion of a recognized Practical Nurse program or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Current registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the relevant regulatory body.

Skills & Competencies

Proficient in effective verbal and written communication. Capable of interacting positively with others. Physically able to perform the duties associated with the position. Strong organizational skills. Competent in operating related equipment.

Additional Information
