Key Responsibilities:
  • Transportation: Operate a tractor-trailer unit to transport goods over long distances, adhering to all relevant transportation regulations and safety protocols.
  • Logistics: Plan and coordinate routes, schedules, and cargo loading/unloading to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform regular vehicle inspections, maintenance, and repairs to ensure the tractor-trailer unit is in good working condition.
  • Communication: Maintain regular communication with dispatchers, customers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Documentation: Accurately complete and maintain all necessary documentation, including driver logs, inspection reports, and maintenance records.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience as a Truck Driver.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Air Brakes Endorsement, Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 45 to 50 hours per week.
