About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Construction Labourer to join our team at Ignite Construction. As a key member of our site operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by loading, unloading, and transporting materials as required.
  • Assisting Skilled Tradespersons: Provide support to skilled tradespersons in various aspects of construction, including framing, erecting walls, and building roofs.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Assist in routine maintenance and repair of equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Vehicle and Equipment Operations: Operate various vehicles and equipment, including loading and unloading trucks with supplies and equipment.
  • Worksite Safety: Maintain a safe and healthy worksite environment by adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn on the job.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding role requiring the ability to handle heavy loads and work in various weather conditions.
  • Personal Suitability: Dependable, reliable, team player, hardworking, and quick learner.
Work Environment

As a Construction Labourer with Ignite Construction, you will work outdoors in a fast-paced construction environment. You will be required to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in various weather conditions.
