Job OpportunityWe are currently seeking a Part-time Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic Rehabilitation Team in the New Liskeard Area. As an Occupational Therapist with CarePartners, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement effective care plans.
Key Responsibilities- Provide professional assessment and treatment of patients in the community and in their homes
- Develop and maintain effective care plans in collaboration with the Home and Community Care Support Services (HCCSS)
- Work with patients to set and achieve time-specific, measurable goals and outcomes
- Provide guidance and support to Community Support Workers in the field
- Participate in interprofessional collaboration with our Professional Practice Research & Education Team
- Master's Degree (or equivalent) in Occupational Therapy from a recognized university
- Registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
- Proven computer skills, including email, MS Word, and Outlook
- Strong assessment skills and ability to participate in effective treatment programs
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
- French language skills are an asset
