In this role, you will oversee and enhance Civil, Structural, Stress, and Piping (CSSP) Engineering services for Enbridge's Liquids Pipelines systems across Canada and the United States.

Civil Engineering Responsibilities: This includes managing containment, drainage, earthworks, and road construction.
Structural Engineering Responsibilities: Encompasses concrete and steel design, along with the construction and maintenance of all structures, including storage tanks.
Piping Engineering Responsibilities: Involves thermal and mechanical stress design and evaluation throughout the lifecycle of the pipeline, including transportation, installation, operation, and modifications.

You will also be responsible for the design, construction, and testing of piping systems, bolting, and pressure testing protocols for pipelines and associated facilities.

Engineering Assessments: Conduct assessments for crossing agreements, surface loading analysis, and code compliance reviews.
A solid understanding of pipeline regulations, fire safety codes, and environmental standards is essential.
You will provide both technical and non-technical mentoring and training to your team, stakeholders, and leadership.
Support for capital projects, operational strategies, and workforce planning will involve preparing budgets, justifications, schedules, and reporting.
A Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution is required.
~ Must be registered with a recognized professional engineering association (such as APEGA as P.Eng, PL Eng in Canada, or PE in the US).
~ A minimum of 7 years of progressive responsibility and proven leadership in Civil, Structural, and Piping System engineering within a liquids pipeline environment is expected.
~ The position typically involves a standard office setting with minimal travel (up to 5%).

Physical requirements include: grasping, kneeling, light to moderate lifting (up to 20 pounds), reaching overhead, repetitive motions, typing, sitting, standing, visual acuity (ability to see screens, detect color variations, read fine print), and hearing capabilities.
