Job Summary

Walser Contracting Ltd is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our transportation department, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer and transporting goods across the country.

Responsibilities
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Certifications: Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi-trailer trucks) required.
  • Documentation: Proficient in creating and maintaining accurate records, including accident or incident reports, bills of lading, and maintenance and repair reports.
  • Transportation: Experience with tractor-trailers and knowledge of transportation regulations.
  • Security and Safety: Clean driving record and ability to pass a drug test.
  • Work Conditions: Physically demanding role requiring attention to detail and ability to work overtime.
  • Weight Handling: Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong work ethic and reliability.
