The Kitchen Sanitation Specialist plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene within the culinary environment at Pomeroy Kananaskis Mountain Lodge. This position involves various tasks aimed at ensuring that all kitchenware and dining items are properly cleaned and sanitized.
Key Responsibilities- Sanitation Duties: Thoroughly clean and disinfect items including dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units.
- Dishwashing Operations: Efficiently operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware.
- Storage Management: Organize and place cleaned dishes in designated storage areas.
- Manual Cleaning: Hand wash and sanitize dishes and other kitchen items as necessary.
- Pot and Pan Care: Scrub and scour pots and pans to ensure they are spotless.
- Floor Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to uphold a clean working environment.
- Education: No formal degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset.
