We are seeking a skilled and reliable Farm Laborer to join our team at 1388894 B.C. LTD. as a Crop Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for the cultivation and maintenance of our crops, ensuring high-quality yields and efficient farm operations.
Key Responsibilities- Crop Management: Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops, including blueberries, cherries, strawberries, and grains.
- Equipment Operation: Operate seed drills and sprayers or dusters to maintain crop health and quality.
- Task Completion: Clean the crops, apply fertilizers, and harvest crops in a timely and efficient manner.
- Work Area Maintenance: Clean work areas, stables, barns, barnyards, and pens to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Specialized Tasks: Perform tasks related to nursery or greenhouse operations, including greenhouse cleaning.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: Will train on the job.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
- Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
- Personal Suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, reliability, and a team player attitude.
