Retail Store Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Nova Scotia Limited. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and train sales staff to provide exceptional customer service and meet sales targets.
  • Manage store operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and store maintenance.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and improve customer engagement.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to inform business decisions and optimize store performance.
  • Collaborate with the management team to achieve business objectives and improve store operations.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a retail environment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Work Environment:

This is a permanent full-time position, working 40 hours per week. The work environment is a retail service establishment with a gas bar. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a standing position for extended periods and have excellent physical capabilities.
