Position Overview

As a Sales Associate in Customer Service, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the shopping experience for our customers at Canadian Tire. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks aimed at providing exceptional service and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Payment Processing: Handle transactions using cash, cheque, credit card, or automatic debit.
  • Cash Register Operations: Efficiently operate the cash register to ensure smooth transactions.
  • Product Knowledge: Offer informed advice regarding merchandise to assist customers in making their selections.
  • Promotional Activities: Engage in advertising and promoting products, sales, and services to enhance customer awareness.
  • Customer Service: Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
  • Merchandise Display: Assist in the arrangement and display of products to attract customer interest.
  • Customer Engagement: Greet customers and discuss their needs regarding the type, quality, and quantity of products or services.
  • Preparation for Sales: Prepare merchandise for purchase, rental, or lease.
  • Complaint Resolution: Address customer complaints or concerns with professionalism.
  • Refunds and Credits: Facilitate arrangements for refunds and credits as necessary.
Work Environment

This position is set in a fast-paced retail environment, requiring the ability to stand for extended periods.

Qualifications
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset.
