- Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
- Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the food counter and surrounding areas.
- Customer Service
- Provide exceptional customer service and respond to customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Upsell and promote menu items and special offers to increase sales and revenue.
- Inventory and Stock Management
- Receive and stock inventory, including food, beverages, and supplies.
- Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies or issues to management.
- Teamwork and Communication
- Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales and customer service goals.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure seamless operations.
- Education and Experience
- No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Will train on the job.
- Skills and Abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
A & W Restaurant is a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. As a Food Counter Attendant, you will be required to work in a standing position for extended periods and lift heavy objects. You will also be required to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
