About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at A & W Restaurant. As a Food Counter Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately.
    • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the food counter and surrounding areas.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Upsell and promote menu items and special offers to increase sales and revenue.
  • Inventory and Stock Management
    • Receive and stock inventory, including food, beverages, and supplies.
    • Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies or issues to management.
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales and customer service goals.
    • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
    • Will train on the job.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
    • Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
Work Environment

A & W Restaurant is a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. As a Food Counter Attendant, you will be required to work in a standing position for extended periods and lift heavy objects. You will also be required to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
