Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Oversight: Supervise construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Team Management: Supervise and coordinate the work of construction workers, including apprentices, to ensure projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed on construction sites, and that workers are aware of and comply with these regulations.
  • Material Management: Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to ensure projects are completed on time.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and workers, to ensure that projects are completed to the required standards.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve problems that arise during construction projects, and implement solutions to prevent similar problems from occurring in the future.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a construction supervisory role.
