Key Responsibilities- Customer Relations: Address and resolve customer inquiries and concerns professionally.
- Team Collaboration: Provide guidance to colleagues on innovative work techniques.
- Vehicle Operation: Operate and navigate both straight and articulated trucks.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles, including tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage.
- Emergency Repairs: Perform roadside repairs as necessary.
- Inspection Duties: Carry out pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, ensuring vehicle safety and compliance.
- Maintenance Tasks: Execute preventive maintenance on vehicles.
- Information Relay: Communicate effectively with central dispatch regarding cargo and route details.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of cargo, service hours, distance traveled, and fuel usage.
This position requires attention to detail and the ability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently.
