Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Diamond Freight Systems Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and Maintain Vehicles: Drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Inspect and Maintain Vehicles: Regularly inspect vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition, performing brake adjustments and emergency roadside repairs as needed.
- Record and Report: Accurately record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, providing regular reports to central dispatch.
- Communicate Effectively: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring seamless communication and coordination with the team.
- Certifications and Licenses: Hold a valid Air Brakes Endorsement and Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi-trailer trucks).
- Experience and Education: Possess a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
This is a permanent position with a 30-hour workweek, requiring the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
