Your Daily Life at Stantec

You will participate in the realization of various projects across Quebec, with the possibility of participating in projects elsewhere in Canada and abroad, in industrial and energy environments.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Complete all structural deliverables from the initial request to the completion of building projects of various sizes;
  • Design and actively participate in the development of calculations, plans, and estimates;
  • Conduct site inspections and structural surveys;
  • Conduct technical expertise studies and reports;
  • Ensure project follow-up, budgets, schedules, and service quality with clients;
  • Provide technical support and administrative follow-up during construction monitoring.

Your Background and Keys to Success

Your application will be considered if you possess the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering;
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in building structure engineering;
  • Experience in design (SAFE, ADA, Etabs) and project monitoring;
  • Member of the Order of Engineers of Quebec (OIQ);
  • Passionate about high-quality technical work;
  • Excellent learning capacity and ability to work in a team;
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously;
  • Fluency in French (oral and written);
  • Functional knowledge of English to facilitate collaboration with internal teams outside Quebec or with clients;
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle;
  • ASP card.
