At VCA Canada, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Veterinary Technician to join our Emergency Department team at the Toronto Veterinary Emergency Hospital.
About the Role:We are looking for a talented RVT who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and is committed to providing leading-edge medical care 24/7. As a member of our ER team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of cases, from emergency surgeries to critical care patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality patient care, including anesthesia, surgery, and critical care
- Collaborate with our team of specialists to deliver expert care and treatment
- Develop and maintain skills in various areas, including IV catheter placement, urinary catheter care, and wound management
- Participate in continuing education and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest medical advancements

To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Veterinary Technology or a related field
- Registration with the Ontario Association of Veterinary Technicians (OAVT)
- Experience in emergency veterinary medicine or a related field
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
