About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Retail Sales Associate at Porter Creek Super A Foods. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a Cash Register with accuracy and efficiency, processing customer transactions and handling cash, credit, and debit payments.
  • Process Customer Transactions with a smile, scanning items, receiving payment, and providing change as needed.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Maintain a Clean and Organized Store Environment by restocking shelves, facing merchandise, and keeping the sales floor tidy.
  • Work Collaboratively with Colleagues to achieve sales goals and provide support as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train the right candidate.
  • Work Setting: Supermarket/grocery store environment.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Familiarity with electronic cash registers and other point-of-sale systems.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand for extended periods and maintain attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Positive attitude and strong communication skills.
