Job Description: Vice-President Counterparty Credit Analyst
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Vice-President Counterparty Credit Analyst to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the credit analysis and management of a portfolio of client relationships within the non-banking financial institution space.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth credit analyses on clients in the non-banking financial sector, including private equity funds, financing companies, private pension funds, insurance groups, and BDCs.
- Prepare concise credit assessments for new and existing client relationships, addressing both credit and transaction risk.
- Utilize internal rating models to propose counterparty ratings and manage key components of counterparty credit administration, such as documentation (ISDA/CSA, MRA, FAA), and risk limits.
- Monitor the credit quality of existing clients and identify potential deterioration in creditworthiness.
- Collaborate with relationship managers, business lines, legal staff, and Risk Division to ensure a seamless credit approval process.
Qualifications:
- Proven work experience as a credit analyst with a minimum of 5-7 years of counterparty credit analysis experience, specifically within the non-banking financial institution sector.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess complex financial information.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in relevant credit analysis tools and software.
