About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter - Restoration Specialist to join our team at On Side Restoration. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for rebuilding and restoring damaged personal property in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Repair and restore wooden structures, including framing, drywalling, and finishing
  • Install and repair ceilings, including knockdown and texturing
  • Install insulation and vapor barriers
  • Install doors, trim, moldings, and baseboards
  • Install hardware and cabinetry

Requirements

  • Experience working in construction environments
  • Tools and skills to use them
  • Strong people and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and passion for quality
  • Safety mindset and valid driver's license
  • Ability to pass a criminal record check and communicate in English

Preferred Qualifications

  • Skilled trades ticket (Carpenter, Painter, Cabinetmaker)
  • IICRC certification (restoration focus)
  • WHMIS and First Aid certifications
