Job Overview

As an Evening Houseperson, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of our hotel facilities. Your responsibilities will ensure that guests experience a welcoming and pristine environment during their stay.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attention to Detail: Conduct regular inspections of assigned areas to guarantee cleanliness and tidiness, including elevators, guestroom landings, the lobby, and vending areas. Report any items that are missing or require maintenance.
  • Organizational Skills: Keep all designated areas well-stocked and in immaculate condition.
  • Team Collaboration: Support your colleagues and assist guests as needed, including handling heavier items when required.
  • Guest Relations: Greet all guests warmly and provide assistance, fostering a friendly atmosphere.
  • Safety and Security: Adhere to established safety protocols and procedures, proactively identifying potential issues and notifying management as necessary.

Qualifications:

To excel in this position, candidates should possess basic English communication skills. Previous experience in housekeeping is advantageous. You will be required to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums and floor buffers, as well as handle cleaning chemicals safely. This role involves physical labor, including lifting and moving objects of varying weights. Candidates must be able to stand for extended periods and work in diverse temperature and noise conditions.

Compensation:

The wage for this position is set at $15.00 per hour.
