Clarity Hiring is seeking a skilled Millwright Technician to join our team in Kingston, ON. As a Millwright Technician, you will be responsible for participating in a team environment and undertaking tasks associated with maintenance, troubleshooting, fabricating, and installing mechanical equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Troubleshoot mechanical problems and interpret mechanical schematics.
- Use hand and power tools, precision measuring equipment, and maintain conveyor systems, compressors, and pumps.
- Perform welding and soldering operations, install and maintain fans, blowers, pneumatic systems, and pipe systems and valves.
- Ensure shop equipment is kept clean and in safe working order, and perform "call in" duty as per schedule.
- Conduct preventive maintenance programs, maintain records, and install, examine, replace, or repair feeders, fibre-optic, and coaxial cable assemblies.
- Maintain, repair, test, and install hydraulic and pneumatic control systems, and maintain safety and environmental regulations as top priorities.
- Valid industrial mechanic/millwright certificate.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of calipers and other measuring devices, and computer skills using MS Office products.
- Ability to read prints.
