Principal Financial Analyst

As a Principal Financial Analyst at OpenText, you will play a critical role in supporting all corporate finance activities, including annual planning, strategic projects, and maintaining long-term financial models. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and consistency in financial planning across the entire organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to support the planning process, including cash flow and balance sheet models, as well as capacity planning and variance analysis.
- Assist the Sr. Director in refining the company's internal models by making continuous improvements.
- Project Evaluation: Assess the financial viability of strategic projects, such as onboarding of acquisitions.
- Implementation Support: Provide financial insights and support during the implementation of strategic projects to ensure they meet financial goals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Accounting designation preferred, CPA, CA or equivalent.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in Finance, with a focus on Corporate FP&A.
- Advanced skills and experience in financial modeling and statistical analysis.
- Proven ability to use computer software and applications, with a strong emphasis on Excel and advanced tools such as VB or Python.
- Proven self-starter with the ability to balance multiple tasks of competing priorities in a changing and dynamic environment.
- Effective project management experience in large matrix organizations.
