Lead a Team of Fund Accountants in Delivering Exceptional Service to Private Equity Clients
MUFG Investor Services is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director, Fund Accounting, Private Equity to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive fund accounting and administration services to private equity clients, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a Team of Fund Accountants: Oversee the daily operations of a team of dedicated professionals, providing guidance, training, and mentorship to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Deliver Comprehensive Fund Accounting Services: Prepare and review Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations, manage investor record keeping, and generate accurate financial reports for private equity funds.
- Collaborate with External Partners: Build strong relationships with banks, auditors, brokers, and custodians to ensure smooth service delivery and timely completion of NAV processes.
- Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to all applicable regulatory requirements and internal controls, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting.
- Drive Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance fund accounting processes, implement technological advancements, and improve client reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
- Proven experience in the fund administration industry with a strong understanding of private equity fund structures and operations.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with fund accounting software (Geneva, Investran, or Yardi) is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
