Job Summary:

As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer at Martinrea International, you will be responsible for the internal management of Mapvision systems, including programming and making necessary changes to ensure their proper use. You will ensure that Mapvision systems are utilized in accordance with the Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) specifications of each part.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain Mapvision systems, including programming and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure compliance with GD&T specifications and quality standards.
  • Lead dimensional issue resolution and root cause analysis activities.
  • Develop and implement quality systems and processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues.
  • Conduct capability studies and gauge R&R analysis.
  • Ensure time management and project completion.
  • Develop and maintain quality documents and records.
  • Participate in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Team Oriented Problem Solving (TOPS) activities.
  • Coordinate PPAP submissions and project activities.
  • Travel to plants across the Americas and Europe as needed.

Requirements:

  • Experience with Mapvision equipment and software.
  • Strong understanding of GD&T and dimensional drawings.
  • Knowledge of quality systems and standards.
  • Proficient in programming and troubleshooting.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
