Position Overview

The Beverage Procurement Specialist at CANOE RESTAURANT plays a crucial role in ensuring the establishment offers a diverse and high-quality selection of beverages. This position involves a blend of tasting expertise and strategic purchasing to enhance our beverage offerings.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of a college, CEGEP, or equivalent non-university program lasting 1 to 2 years.
  • Relevant experience in the field is also considered.
Key Responsibilities
  • Organize products in accordance with established planograms.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with beverage suppliers.
  • Ensure optimal stock levels are maintained at all times.
  • Negotiate pricing, discounts, credit terms, and logistics with suppliers.
  • Oversee the distribution of beverages to various outlets.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to enhance guest experiences.
  • Assess the needs of the restaurant and determine the appropriate quantity and types of beverages to purchase.
  • Select and acquire beverages for resale.
  • Supervise the activities of other purchasing staff.
Experience Requirements
  • 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in beverage purchasing.
  • Permanent position with a commitment to quality and service.
  • Work language: English.
  • Expected working hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
