Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Line Cook to join our culinary team at UNO MUSTACHIO. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a college program or equivalent in culinary arts or a related field (1-2 years).
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a similar role.
Work Environment

This position is based in a restaurant setting, requiring the ability to thrive in a fast-paced atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess food portion sizes and associated costs.
  • Design menus and forecast food needs for preparation.
  • Order and manage kitchen supplies and ingredients.
  • Prepare and cook a variety of meals and individual dishes.
  • Accommodate customers with dietary restrictions or allergies.
  • Prepare specialized meals as directed by nutritionists or head chefs.
  • Conduct inspections of kitchen and service areas.
  • Maintain inventory records for food and supplies.
  • Ensure cleanliness of kitchen and workspaces.
Certifications

Possession of a Food Safety Certificate is required.

Culinary Focus

Expertise in Italian cuisine is preferred.
