The Role: IT Systems Specialist
We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Systems Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining the firm's robust technology infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations for our legal professionals and staff.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the firm's backup systems and processes using Commvault software.
- Implement reliable, secure backup and recovery solutions across the enterprise, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular backup and recovery tests to validate the effectiveness of our backup strategies.
- Create and update comprehensive documentation for backup procedures, solutions, licensing, and relevant project artifacts.
- Assist in the maintenance and administration of our network and server infrastructure, including NetApp systems.
- Monitor network performance closely and ensure optimal operation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network and server-related issues promptly and efficiently.
- Manage and maintain our print server environment.
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement network and server upgrades and improvements.
- Provide technical support to end users for a variety of IT-related inquiries.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in managing backup systems and data recovery solutions.
- Strong understanding of networking principles and protocols.
- Hands-on experience with server administration, including NetApp systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
