We are seeking a skilled Tile Installation Specialist to join our team at 2837832 ONTARIO INC. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in tile setting and be committed to delivering high-quality workmanship.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months in a similar role
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, measure, and mark surfaces designated for tile installation.
  • Mix, apply, and spread various adhesives such as mortar, cement, and glue using hand trowels.
  • Create rough plans and sketches for tile layouts.
  • Set tiles accurately in place and apply pressure to ensure proper adhesion.
  • Align and straighten tiles to achieve a professional finish.
  • Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings utilizing both hand and power cutting tools.
  • Remove and replace any cracked or damaged tiles as necessary.
  • Construct underbeds and install necessary anchor bolts, wires, and brackets.
  • Cut, surface, polish, and install marble and granite materials.
  • Estimate costs and materials required for projects.
  • Mix, lay, and polish terra surfaces effectively.
  • Install tile strips as part of the finishing process.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a commitment of 30 to 40 hours per week. The primary language of work will be English.
