About the Role

The Ville de Laval is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Environmental Awareness Officer. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in promoting and encouraging environmentally responsible behaviors among our citizens.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote environmental awareness and education among the community;
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to design and deliver environmental programs and initiatives;
  • Conduct outreach and engagement activities to raise awareness about environmental issues and promote sustainable practices;
  • Provide information and support to citizens on environmental services and programs offered by the Ville de Laval;
  • Collect and analyze data to inform environmental policy and decision-making;
  • Participate in community events and activities to promote environmental awareness and education;

Requirements

  • Knowledge of environmental issues and sustainability practices is an asset;
