Key Responsibilities- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to provide insights for business decision-making.
- Payroll and Taxation: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, prepare tax returns, and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, optimize financial performance, and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Computer and Technology: Utilize Caseware/Caseview, MS Excel, and TaxPrep to maintain and analyze financial data.
- Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
