Fire Alarm Technician Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Alarm Technician to join our team at ACAI. As a Fire Alarm Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining fire alarm systems to ensure they are functioning properly and meet the required safety standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and repair fire alarm systems to ensure they are functioning properly
  • Mentor and train junior technicians as required
  • Perform maintenance work on fire alarm systems
  • Conduct site visits to inspect and repair fire alarm systems
  • Work with the team to ensure all fire alarm systems are properly maintained and functioning
Requirements:
  • Minimum of a Junior CFAA registration
  • At least 1 year of experience as a fire alarm technician
  • Strong knowledge of ULC codes, building codes, and fire codes
  • Strong command of the English language, both oral and written
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driver abstract
  • Factory training in Tyco and Notifier systems is an asset
