We are seeking a part-time Math and Science Educator to join our team at Oxford Learning Centres, Inc. in Thornhill, ON.

About the Role

This position involves working directly with students as an Interactive Coach, teaching up to 3 students at a time at different levels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in math and science, with the ability to guide students' understanding and provide individualized support.

Responsibilities
  • Teaching math and science to high school students
  • Following the Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies
  • Filling in post-lesson notes and completing daily student communication updates
  • Maintaining a friendly and professional manner at all times
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or similar certification in a relevant field
  • Fourth year university students with extensive tutoring experience will be considered
  • Teaching certification an asset
  • Good knowledge of the current Grades 9-12 math and science curriculum
