Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Agile Coach and Change Agent to join our team at McCain Foods. As an Agile Transformation Specialist, you will play a key role in guiding and supporting our teams in adopting and implementing agile methodologies and practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Agile Transformation: Drive the agile transformation strategy, assess the organization's readiness for agile practices, and create a roadmap for adoption.
- Coaching and Mentoring: Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to individuals, teams, and leaders on agile principles, values, and practices.
- Facilitation: Facilitate agile ceremonies, such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews, ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and decision-making within the team.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and work closely with teams to implement agile frameworks and methodologies, such as Scrum, Kanban, or Lean.
- Team Empowerment: Foster a self-organizing and high-performing team culture by encouraging autonomy, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Agile Metrics and Reporting: Define, track, and analyze key agile metrics to measure team and organizational performance.
- Training and Education: Conduct training sessions, workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions to educate individuals and teams about agile concepts, tools, and techniques.
- Change Management: Act as a change agent to promote the agile mindset and cultural transformation across the organization.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including executives, product owners, and external partners, to ensure alignment, collaboration, and support for agile initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Strong understanding of agile principles, values, and methodologies.
- Proven experience as an Agile Coach, Scrum Master, or in a similar role.
- Excellent coaching, mentoring, and facilitation skills.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to influence and inspire teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to navigate and resolve conflicts within teams and across departments.
- Knowledge of agile metrics and tools for tracking team and organizational performance.
- Experience in agile transformation and change management.
- Certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), or Agile Certified Coach (ACC) or SAFe Practitioner (SP) / SAFe Practitioner Consultant (SPC) are desirable.
- Experience in software development or project management is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Business, or Engineering) is preferred.
