Compensation

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $108,000 annually.

Your Role

You will provide expert technical support to our clients and collaborate with partners to develop optimal and innovative solutions that meet performance expectations while managing risks. This includes integrating health, safety, environmental protection, reliability, availability, and profitability throughout the lifecycle of energy system equipment and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Your daily activities will include optimizing technical solutions, defining project content, and managing asset strategies. Specifically, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting technical studies and investigations
  • Developing and assessing technical solution scenarios for projects
  • Performing value and risk analyses on technical solutions
  • Guiding maintenance and insurance management strategies based on selected project solutions
  • Overseeing approval activities

Additionally, you will contribute to the engineering team for projects, maintenance solutions, and operational continuity, including:

  • Designing and engineering projects and maintenance
  • Ensuring the completion of plans and specifications, including final plans
  • Coordinating the delivery of engineering outputs
  • Supervising external engineering services to ensure high quality
  • Providing support for work, start-ups, and commissioning
Your Profile Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field, and membership in the Quebec Order of Engineers (O.Q.E.).
  • At least 3 years of experience in electrical equipment, including auxiliary systems, main connection cabinets, motor control centers, low and medium voltage circuit breakers, transformers, excitation systems, and instrumentation.
Skills and Knowledge
  • Experience in design, planning, fabrication monitoring, inspection, and work supervision is an asset.
  • Experience in starting up and commissioning electrical equipment for production is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with production or alternator design is a plus.
  • Mastery of Hydro-Québec's project processes is advantageous.
  • Strong behavioral skills, including:

  • Proficiency in the French language is required for this role.
